Seafield Gardens Seaton

Just up the hill you will see the clock tower (built after WW11 in a space once occuiped by a house that was hit by a bomb!). 

That is the site of Seafield Gardens, so cross the road and walk up the road, Sea Hill, or up the terraced gardens to the left of Sea Hill.

(As an aside here Sea Hill is one way (down the hill) and folk often turn up it and go the wrong way and have even been known to park up there facing the wrong way.)

Seafield Gardens should be one of the best places to visit in Seaton, but sadly they are like the rest of Seaton, a bit of a mess.

There is café, a place to play Crazy Golf, there are tennis courts, there is a bowling green, there is a sensory garden, there is a children's playgound (very good) and there is a botanical greenhouse. So all great in principal....but is anything open? 

Well the bowling green is not part of the gardens as such and the members run that so it is open a fair bit. The play-park for the kids is open 24/7 but for tennis, crazy golf and the café it only opens during schoolholidays betweeen 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.  and weekends. 

I would doubt it is open all year!
