A day out in Seaton 2

If you have come by car then obviously you could be in any of the car parks around town. If you are in the main car parks near the tram station then just head towards the station itself from the car park exit.

The following directions now cover 1) Car, 2) Coach, and 4) Tram. (3) Bus; - see below)

You will find yourself near a set of pedestrian lights near a block of public toilets. Make sure you are on the toilet side of these lights. 

Heading away from the adjacent tram station walk the 200 yards to the small roundabout and turn left.

Just along this road is a Zebra crossing. Cross here and turn right and then almost immediatly turn left up Beach Road (clue in the name?).  At the top of Beach Road, at the T junction cross over to the far side and to your left you will spy a gap in the sea wall which will give you access to the promenade. Once on the promenade turn to face the sea. This is probably the best view in Seaton (yes, looking away from the town!).

You should now walk towards the main seafront area which will be to your right if you are facing the sea.

Walk down here to the area when the main gates are in the sea wall, an area known as "Fisherman's Gap". The entire walk from the afore-mentioned toilets is only 500 yards. 

(If you are coming to the town by bus the bus stop is literally at Fisherman's gap)
